Front desk was very polite and professional. Rooms were cute and homey, very comfortable bed! And super clean! Well worth the money! Would stay here again! Highly recommend. Also I liked that the parking lot was well lit!
Hotel owners are extremely warm and friendly, which was welcoming and assuring after a long travel day. Value recieved for the price is spot on - clean and comfortable accomodations. Our room had a mini-split and a fan for tempurature and air control, which was also extremely helpful in generating ambient white noise to assist with a good night's rest.
I love stopping in Liberal, Kansas. We always stay at the Southwind Inn. Family-owned, comfy, super clean, safe, great location! The owners are amazing! Our first stay was 6 years ago. 6 years ago, the motel owners recommended a great local breakfast restaurant. Every time we do our trip out to Missouri, we stop in Liberal to stay the night at this motel. Then the next morning we eat at the breakfast restaurant! I'm currently here again. About ready to get into my comfy bed and have a great night's sleep!
This place was wonderful and they treated me like family. The room was clean and I slept like a baby. This morning I ran into the owner and he thanked me for staying, made sure I was more than satisfied saying that for him when people come and stay he feels like it's truly a treat as he considers all those that stay at his place was a gift to his family. I would say due to the owner this is in my top 10 stays. "Added Bonus" Dorothy's home from the Wizard of Oz is right behind this hotel so you can walk to it easily.
Rode our motorcycles up to Kansas for Republic of Texas tour stops and spent the night at Southwind! Great little place to spend the night, very clean! Owners spoke to us in the morning, very welcoming. This hotel is within walking distance of restaurants & sites, like the one pictured. Museum was very interesting as well.
The owners are super friendly and very accommodating. The rates are good, the rooms are clean. The bed was comfortable, and the AC worked good. I would definitely stay there again.
